A: To become a plumber in Perth, you’ll need to satisfy the following requirements:

1. Complete the plumbing and gas-fitting apprenticeship which is available as a school-based program and takes about 48 months to get through.

2. Obtain the appropriate Plumbing contractor’s license from the Plumbers’ Licensing Board.

A: Yes we can. We fix blocked drains, leaking faucets, pipes and fittings plus a host of other plumbing services.

Q: Is it hard to fix a leaking tap?

A: Some taps are easier than others. To fix a leaking pipe, you would disassemble it then replace the O-ring, the washer, and the jumper valve. You are discouraged from DIY (Do-It-Yourself). Instead, call a plumber. It’s always the smarter move.

A: Yes. You can call us for emergency plumbing at any time of the day or night. We understand that some things just can’t wait. We are available 24 hours a dy, 7 days a week.

Q: How much does it cost to hire a plumber?

A: The costs to hire a plumber vary. It depends on the type of service and whether it’s an emergency. Also, some plumbers charge hourly rates whilst others will provide fixed price quotes. Hourly rates start at around $75 and can go as high as $220. We recommend getting a fixed price quote, so you know in advance, how much you are paying.

A: Our Pro Plumber office is open Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30 pm. For all emergencies we have an on call plumber working 24 hours, 7 days a week.
